Scion launches xB 686 Parklan Edition in United States
Scion has taken the wraps off the xB 686 Parklan Edition which will serve as a last hurrah for the model. It was created in collaboration with 686 Technical Apparel and can be visually distinguished by its Cocoa Bean Metallic paint featuring glossy black accents and a red trim. It rides on glossy black 16-inch rims and can be optionally ordered with a bespoke INNO cargo box and a roof rack for those who need to carry more luggage.
Stepping inside the cabin, the 2016 Scion xB 686 Parklan Edition has received all-weather floor mats, special seats featuring cubist camo accents, along with zippered pockets and a rear cargo mat. All cars will also get the 686 stamped logo tie in with the black-out badges, side mirrors, rear license plate garnish and door handles.
Only 686 units will ever be made and each will carry a starting price of $19,685, without taking into account the additional $795 delivery, processing and handling fees.
This will probably be the last special edition for the once popular model as Toyota is expected to phase out the xB in the near future since sales have decreased considerably in recent times and there’s no point into keeping the model alive now.
