Seat Leon SC starts from 15,370 pounds
Spanish automaker Seat has announced pricing details for the three-door version of the new Leon sold in United Kingdom. The Leon SC has a starting price of 15,370 pounds, making it 300 pounds cheaper than the five-door hatchback variant. It benefits from the same level of equipment so the entry-level S variant has seven airbags, color touchscreen display, air conditioning, Bluetooth and sporty seats, whereas the regular Leon packs standard seats. For 16,490 pounds you can opt for the SE trim which adds fog lights, cruise control, dashboard chrome inserts, 16-inch alloys, leather steering wheel and XDS electronic differential.
The 2013 Seat Leon SC FR will set you back at least 19,085 pounds and rides on 17-inch alloys. It benefits from LED taillights, a sports suspension and a sporty body kit. Regardless of the trim chosen, all version of the Leon SC have a 35mm shorter wheelbase compared to the five-door model, while at the same time being 44 lbs (20 kg) lighter. Cargo capacity is the same, standing at 380 liters.
The 2013 Seat Leon coupe is scheduled to go on order on April 15, with deliveries kicking off during the beginning of July.
