The Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo has arrived in UK with a starting price of £14,645. Launched back in February this year, the more upscale version of the supermini can now be ordered in United Kingdom both as a hatchback and estate with a base 1.0 MPI engine developing 75 PS (55 kW) while the beefier 1.2 TSI has 90 PS (66 kW) and 110 PS (81 kW). The latter can be optionally equipped with a DSG transmission whereas the other engines come with a manual gearbox. On the diesel side, there’s a 1.4 TDI rated at 90 PS (66 kW) and 110 PS (81 kW).
What sets the Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo apart from the other versions are the numerous cosmetic tweaks such as 16-inc Italia black alloys, body-colored rear spoiler, black side mirror caps, black radiator grille, LED daytime running lights, front fog lights, tinted rear windows, panoramic glass sunroof and a Monte Carlo badge on the B pillar. Moreover, this more expensive version comes with a cherry red center console, front sport seats, Monte Carlo pedals, front & rear floor mats with red stitching, as well as a multi-function sports steering wheel while the estate version also has black roof rails.
