Skoda introduces Rapid Spaceback ScoutLine in Europe

Skoda is launching the Rapid Spaceback ScoutLine which comes with a series of cosmetic tweaks. This is a more rugged version of the model, but it lacks an increased ride height and an all-wheel drive system as it only brings some plastic body cladding on the wheel arches and side skirts. The front and rear bumpers are also different and feature a reflective silver finish while 16-inch “Rock” and 17-inch “Camelot” alloys have been added to the range. As for the side mirror caps, these have a reflective silver finish while the body is painted in pistachio green. However, Skoda says you will be able to get the car with any of the colors available on the regular model.

In terms of engines, the Skoda Rapid Spaceback ScoutLine gets all of the engines of the standard variant, with the exception of the more economical GreenLine. There are three gasoline engines to choose from, with outputs of 90 PS, 110 PS and 125 PS while on the diesel side we find 90 PS and 116 PS units. These motors come with a start/stop system and have a regenerative braking system and Skoda mentions all of them meet the Euro 6 regulations.
