Smugglers in a Jeep Cherokee get stuck while trying to cross the border to U.S. from Mexico

A couple of suspected smugglers were trying to cross the United States border earlier this week by using an older generation Jeep Grand Cherokee. For this they made two ramps on both sides of the 14-foot fence located at the Imperial Sand Dunes in California. They were unlucky as the Jeep got stuck on the metal barrier.

While the U.S. agents were approaching the scene, they saw two smugglers on the Mexican side attempting to free the car before they gave up and returned to Mexico. Enrique Zarate, a Supervisory Border Patrol Agent, gave an interview to FoxNews saying that this is not the first time when agents saw this.
