SRT Sons of Italy Viper to be auctioned
SRT has revealed plans to auction a one-off Viper GTS, with all proceedings going to the Sons of Italy Foundation. The car in question is wearing an Avorio Perla exterior paint scheme which is being complemented by bespoke black vapor chrome wheels. On the inside we notice the Sepia-colored seats which have green / white / red accents that are symbolizing the Italian flag. A similar Italian theme can be seen on the GTS badging, with the G being green, the T being white and the S having a red hue.
Power comes from the same V10 8.4-liter mill producing 640 bhp (477 kW) and a maximum torque of 814 Nm (600 lb-ft). Thanks to this massive engine, the SRT Viper GTS will reach 60 mph (96 km/h) in the “low three-second range” and onto a top speed of 206 mph (331 km/h). SRT says the Viper GTS can do the quarter mile in approximately 11.5 seconds.
All the money obtained from the auction will be used for improving the lives of Italian Americans by helping them with disaster relief services, scholarships and other necessary services.
