SRT Viper gains optional Track Pack
SRT is now offering the optional Track Pack for the Viper and the more expensive Viper GTS variant. Although the SRT Viper was revealed last year, the Track Pack hasn’t been available so far but now it’s available on order at an additional cost for both the regular Viper and the GTS model.
When choosing this package, the Viper gains better brake cooling ductwork and Brembo brakes which feature new rotors that are 3.6 kg (8 lbs) less heavy. Thanks to the lighter braking system, the Viper fitted with the package weighs 14.5 kg (32 lbs) less, but the weight-saving measures don’t stop here.
SRT can also equip the Viper with new alloy wheels wrapped around in Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires which will lower the overall weight of the car by an impressive 28.1 kg (62 lbs), including with the aforementioned Brembo brakes. Other than that, SRT is also offering a 4-mode traction and stability system.
We don’t know the price tag of the Track Pack as SRT has not disclosed this piece of information so far.
