Subaru is putting the finishing touches on the 2015 Outback as the Japanese marque has released a teaser photo announcing the model will be showcased later this month in United States at the 2014 New York International Auto Show. They say the vehicle was developed to provide “car-like handling and SUV capability” and most likely its design will be heavily influenced by the recently launched 2015 Legacy so don’t expect the styling to be a surprise. From this teaser photo we notice the new Outback will adopt a nosecone front fascia with LED-infused headlights and plastic body cladding.
Engine lineup will probably be borrowed from the 2015 Legacy so expect to find a 4-cylinder, 2.5-liter rated at 175 bhp and 174 lb-ft along with a larger 6-cylinder, 3.6-liter motor outputting 256 bhp and 247 lb-ft.
