Suzuki’s UK division has announced the introduction of the limited edition Swift Sport SZ-R which will be produced in only 100 units. The car is scheduled to go on sale at the beginning of next month and is priced from 14,249 pounds, making it 500 pounds more expensive in comparison to the stock model. Under the hood it has a 1.6-liter engine outputting 134 hp (100 kW) and 118 lb-ft (160 Nm) of torque. It helps the coupe reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in 8.7 seconds, on its way to a top speed of 121 mph (195 km/h). Suzuki says the car is capable of returning 36.7 mpg US (44.1 mpg UK or 6.4 liters / 100 km).
What sets this model apart from the regular version would have to be the Cosmic Black exterior finish which boasts a contrasting Ablaze Red hue on the rear spoiler, mirrors and roof. Other than that, it packs red stitching on the floor mats, seats and steering wheel. Suzuki has fitted this Swift Sport SZ-R with individually numbered door sill guards.
