Several Volkswagen apprentices have brought the Golf Variant Youngster 5000 at this year’s edition of the Worthersee meet in Austria. The wagon has received this moniker since it was fitted with a 5,000-watt sound system controlled via an iPad and installed in the skids at the back. It also boasts an iPhone-controlled Bilstein suspension while Volkswagen R was in charge of providing the side sills, front and rear bumpers, along with the seats. Six of the company’s apprentices from Zwickau worked on this particular Golf and applied an Arancio argos pearl exterior paint scheme.

Under the hood of the Volkswagen Golf Variant Youngster 5000 is a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine sourced from the Golf GTI but further tuned to unleash no less than 320 PS which makes it 90 PS more powerful than the Golf GTI Performance model.
