We saw lots of weird and interesting things going on Russian roads but this time it’s something entirely different. A dashboard-mounted camera (of course) recorded while a Toyota Land Cruiser was almost struck by a lightning. This incident occurred in the Russian town Zheleznogorsk and the SUV belonged to the mayor of the town, a man by the name of Vadim Medvedev. At the moment when this happened, he was not in the car as the vehicle was being driven by his personal chauffeur. The news reports stated that the SUV was not hit directly by the lightning but even so the car’s electronics failed for a short amount of time. The Land Cruiser was towed in order to get the necessary repairs, while the driver escaped with no injuries at all.
