1966 Shelby GT350CR launched by Classic Recreations

If you are a big fan of classic muscle cars but you also want the latest technologies, Classic Recreations can provide the best of both worlds. This is the 1966 Shelby GT350CR which will be produced in a limited quantity of only ten cars annually. The prototype is going to go on auction during the Monterey Car Week scheduled for August 16. It’s important to mention the prototype is based on an original ’66 Ford Mustang Fastback and has a 7.0-liter (427 cubic inch) small block Ford Racing crate motor unleashing 545 bhp (406 kW). The mill is connected to a Tremec five-speed manual gearbox. Other highlights include power rack and pinion steering.

Classic Recreations also mentions the 1966 Shelby GT350CR has a premium sound system, a dual-tank Nitrous injection system, sports seats, climate control, three-piece forged HRE Performance alloys and Wilwood brakes. The car has an official Shelby serial number and is going to be included in the Shelby American World Registry.
