2013 Toyota Avalon priced from $30,990

The 2013 Avalon is certainly one of Toyota’s best looking models, a car which is scheduled to hit the U.S. dealerships at the beginning of December. The Japanese automaker has released this week pricing details for both the regular and hybrid variants.

The cheapest model money can buy will set you back $30,990, while the most expensive will be the hybrid variant in the top-spec trim which costs $41,400. It is important to mention that these two price tags do not include the $975 processing and handling fee. The model set to be replaced costs $33,195, without the additional tax.

The conventional-powered 2013 Toyota Avalon V6 has a 3.5-liter engine that pumps out 268 hp and is linked to a six-speed automatic transmission, managing to return an EPA-rating of 31 mpg on the highway, 25 mpg in the combined cycle and 21 mpg in the city.

This is the first model year when Toyota offers a hybrid variant for the Avalon, featuring the same configuration as the Lexus ES300h and Camry hybrids. It consists of an Atkinson cycle 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine and an electronic CVT with two electric motors and a 224.8 volt battery which provide a combined output of 200 hp and return 39 mpg highway / 40 mpg combined / 40 mpg city.

Customers will be able to get the 2013 Avalon in one of the following trim levels: XLE, XLE Premium, XLE Touring and Limited.
