Alfa Romeo has introduced a modest revision for its MiTo model which comes with a chromed front grille inspired by the Giulietta. Other exterior changes worth mentioning include different 15-inch alloy wheels, “burnished” headlight surrounds, while one of the ten paint hues includes the new Anthracite Grey scheme seen in these official images released by Alfa Romeo. The interior cabin has remained mostly the same with the exception of the updated dashboard trim and three new combinations for upholstery. The 2014 Alfa Romeo MiTo can be configured with a five-inch Uconnect infotainment system packing support for Bluetooth, iPod, USB and AUX.
Power comes from a new 0.9-liter Turbo TwinAir engine rated at 105 HP and 145 Nm of torque which grants the MiTo a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) time in 11.4 seconds and a maximum speed of 114 mph (184 km/h). Fitted with this engine, the 2014 MiTo will return 56 mpg US (67.2 mpg UK or 4.2 liters / 100 km) with CO2 emissions standing at 99 g/km.
It will go on sale very soon at a starting price in Italy of 14,800 euros.
