2014 Chevrolet 300S launched
American automaker Chrysler has taken the wraps off the 2014 300S which comes with an assortment of updates. Noticeable changes include tinted headlights, glossy black window trim and a black chrome grille, while 20-inch alloys and an optional glossy black roof are also part of the changes. Step inside the cabin and you will find silver contrast stitching for the black or Ambassador Blue leather sport seats, along with a piano black trim. Chrysler has also implemented some “matte carbon hydrographic” accents as well as die-cast paddle shifters on the steering wheels. There’s also an Uconnect infotainment system with a Beats sound system packing 10 speakers.
Motivation for the 2014 Chrysler 300S can be provided by either a V6 3.6-liter Pentastar engine rated at 300 bhp (223 kW) and also by a beefier V8 HEMI 5.7-liter outputting 370 bhp (275 kW). The V8-powered models also benefit from a high-performance braking system and a sport-tuned suspension.
It’s scheduled to hit showrooms next spring, with pricing details to be disclosed closer to the vehicle’s market release.
