DD Customs upgrades Chevrolet Camaro SS to 474 PS

The owner of a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS contacted German tuner DD Customs from Hamburg to develop an upgrade program for his modern muscle car. The aftermarket specialists began with a KW Variant 1 suspension and then they replaced the stock wheels with a set of huge 22-inch rims shod in 265/30 ZR22 front & 305/25 ZRR22 rear tires. The changes continue with a sport exhaust system featuring four 115mm thick pipes and flap control, while the front spoiler lip has been manufactured from carbon fiber. The same lightweight material was also used for the rear diffuser and hood cowl.

Under the hood, the V8 6.2-liter engine was equipped with a two-inch fan manifold, K&N air filter and two 200-cell catalyzers. As a result of the hardware updates, the motor’s output was increased from the series 426 PS (313 kW) and 569 Nm (420 lb-ft) to 474 PS (349 kW) and 609 Nm (449 lb-ft).
