2014 Kia Forte going to Los Angeles Auto Show this week

The 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show starts this week and for this year’s edition Kia has prepared the 2014 Forte Sedan for the U.S. and Canadian markets. If you remember, this is essentially the North American version of the all-new K3 sedan that Kia launched in Korea during the last part of September 2012. It will be sold with the Forte moniker in other markets as well, while in Brazil and Australia it will arrive in the first part of 2013 under the Cerato name. There are some changes in terms of equipment packages based on the region and Kia will also differentiate the models by offering specific engines, trims and decors.

The new 2014 Kia Forte is 4,560mm (179,5 inches) long, 1,780mm (70,1 inches) wide and 1,435mm (56,5 inches) tall, thus making it a considerable 30mm (1,2 inches) longer, 5mm (0,2 inches) wider and 25mm (1 inches) lower than the model it’s set to replace in Kia’s lineup.

We will be able to provide full details about the new generation of the Forte later on this week when the South Korean automaker will present the car at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show. Stay tuned for additional information.
