2014 Lexus RC F teased, debuts in January
Lexus is teasing a new high-performance “F” model and by the looks of things it appears to be the RC F. We will find that out in a short while as the car will be revealed to the public in January 2014 at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. Lexus has not disclosed any details about the car but they did say the vehicle was “engineered from scratch, one performance layer at a time.” In addition, Lexus mentions their latest F model will provide a “bold, gritty” experience.
Rumors are suggesting the car is powered by a V8 5.0-liter engine putting out 455 bhp and 401 lb-ft of torque. The car will allegedly have a 15mm reduced ride height and will make use of carbon fiber body panels. The Lexus RC F will adopt a sport-tuned suspension, 19-inch alloys shod in Michelin Pilot Sport PS tires, as well as a Brembo braking kit.
