The world wide web has provided us with the first photo of the Lexus CT200h facelift which is due sometime next year. The attached low-res pic comes courtesy of a scanned brochure and shows us the facelift will be a light one as the only obvious modifications are in the front grille which gets the corporate spindle design as seen on the company’s most recent models, including the ES and IS. Upon closer inspection of the alloy wheels, we assume this is the more appealing F Sport model.
We are not expecting any changes in terms of hardware so the 2014 Lexus CT200h facelift should come with the same 1.8-liter gasoline engine developing 98 bhp which works in tandem with an electric motor that provides an additional 80 bhp. As a result of this arrangement, the car offers a combined output of 130 bhp and needs 9.8 seconds until 60 mph (96 km/h) before topping out at a modest 112 mph (180 km/h).
