2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class already prepared by Brabus

It’s only been a couple of months since Mercedes-Benz introduced the 2014 S-Class and German aftermarket specialist Brabus has already developed an upgrade kit for the limousine. The S500 model with its V8 4.7-liter engine can develop 520 HP and 820 Nm which allows the car to perform the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in 4.2 seconds and a maximum speed of 186 mph (300 km/h). The S63 AMG’s twin-turbo V8 5.5-liter can be tweaked to churn as much as 650 HP and 1,000 Nm. Various wheels are available in sizes ranging from 19 to 21 inches, with tires from Yokohama, Pirelli and Continental.

We almost forgot to mention the most powerful tuning package which receives the Brabus B63S moniker bringing an optimized air intake, new turbochargers, remapped ECU, free-flowing exhaust and an optimized air intake. All these modifications lift output to 730 HP and an electronically-limited torque of 1,065 Nm. Brabus didn’t disclose the 0-62 mph time but they did say the car can reach a top speed of 202 mph (325 km/h) which is electronically capped.

The interior cabin will have a high-end multimedia system, Brabus-branded sill plates and Alcantara / premium leather upholstery once the car makes its debut in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
