2014 Nissan Juke Nismo RS revealed with 218 HP
Nissan has prepared a facelift for the Juke Nismo RS which continues to be powered by the same four-cylinder, 1.6-liter DIG-T turbocharged gasoline engine. However, output of the motor has been lifted by 18 HP to 218 HP while the torque figure has gone up by 20 Nm to 280 Nm. Those who opt for the two-wheel drive variant will be able to benefit as standard equipment from a mechanical limited slip differential. In addition, the front brake discs have grown in size as they now measure 320mm while the previous ones were 296mm. Nissan has also installed rear ventilated disc brakes and optional Recaro bucket seats.
The 2014 Juke Nismo RS facelift benefits from revised spring and damper settings, along with a customized exhaust that according to Nissan is now offering a sportier sound as they have increased the diameter of the muffler. Optional goodies include xenon headlights and a bunch of safety technologies including an Around View Monitor system and lane departure warning.
