2014 SAAB 9-3 Aero launched in Sweden

SAAB is officially back on the automotive map as the Swedish automaker has restarted production. The vehicle in question is the 2014 9-3 Aero which looks just about the same as the well-known 9-3 facelift that was originally introduced back in 2011. However, upon closer inspection you will notice that it doesn’t have the griffin logos on the wheels and hood since these are owned by Scania and SAAB Group. The car is programmed to reach the Swedish market on December 10 and will carry a starting price of 279,000 SEK (around 31,510 euros or $42,880).

SAAB did not disclose details about the performance figures of the 2014 9-3 Aero but they did say the car is motivated by a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine developing 220 HP which sends the power to the front axle through either a manual or an automatic gearbox.
