2015 Chevrolet Impala Bi-Fuel costs $38,210
Chevrolet has slapped a $38,210 price tag on the 2015 Impala Bi-Fuel which is slated to reach dealerships in the months to come. It should be mentioned the price tag does not include the tax, title, dealer and license fees but it does take into account the $825 destination charge. According to Chevrolet, customers who are going to purchase this model will enjoy an almost 1.25 USD fuel saving per gasoline gallon-equivalent. The vehicle was designed to run primarily on compressed natural gas (CNG) but it will automatically work on gasoline when the CNG is depleted or when the driver manually switches between the two fuels.
Power of the 2015 Chevrolet Impala Bi-Fuel comes from a hardened 3.6-liter engine that boasts better wear resistance and works together with a compressed natural tank that has been stored in the trunk. The car has a CNG range of 150 miles during city driving and with both types of fuels it can provide a range of up to 500 miles.
