GM has taken the wraps off the 2015 GMC Sierra HD and the Chevrolet Silverado which are both based on the 1500 version of each company but are distinguished by a chrome front bumper made from one piece, along with a power dome hood, while at the back there’s a CornerStep bumper, as well as an EZ Lift and Lower tailgate. The flagship Sierra Denali comes with LED-infused headlights, polished stainless steel exhaust tip, body-colored bumpers and a different front grille. Other goodies include a Bose sound system, heated & cooled seats, Intellilink system and GPS.
Both vehicles can be configured with a V8 gasoline or bi-fuel 6.0-liter Vortec engine outputting 360 bhp and 380 lb-ft in the 2500 HD model and 322 bhp and 380 lb-ft in the 3500 HD. The client can also opt for a V8 6.6-liter Duramax mill unleashing 397 bhp and 765 lb-ft of torque. The trucks feature a payload capacity of 7,374 lbs and have a trailer rating of 19,600 lbs.
