2015 Lexus NX officially revealed
The 2015 Lexus NX has made its official appearance online today, prior to its first public outing scheduled for next week in China during the 2014 Beijing Motor Show. This is Lexus’ first ever crossover and sports an angular design together with standard 17-inch rims or 18-inch alloys for the F SPORT model. It has received a rather attractive sloping roofline and packs strips of LED daytime running lights, the same technology used at the back for the L-shaped combination lamps. Also at the rear there are dual chromed exhaust pipes.
The vehicle will be available as an NX 200 model with a naturally-aspirated 4-cylinder gasoline engine and also as an NX 200t equipped with a turbocharged 4-cylinder motor, a first for Lexus. The Japanese marque also plans on offering it as an NX 300h equipped with a hybrid powertrain. Regardless of the engine selection, front-wheel drive will be standard but for more money AWD will be an option.
