2015 Mercedes-Benz CLA introduced with additional power
Although it has been on sale for a short amount of time, the Mercedes-Benz CLA four-door coupe has already received a series of updates for the 2015 model year. On the outside it has gained a fresh new set of 19-inch alloy wheels featuring a high-sheen finish while on the inside the model can be configured with an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment display. There’s also a keyless go system, satin-finish light brown poplar wood trim while the ambient lighting system now has twelve different colors to choose from.
Moreover, a Collision Prevention Assist Plus system has been added and it offers video & audio warning whenever there’s an imminent collision. The CLA will automatically brake if the driver doesn’t take any actions as a method to prevent or at least minimize the severity of the crash.
The CLA 220 CDI version has been fine-tuned and it now offers 177 HP (130 kW) and a peak torque of 350 Nm (258 lb-ft), enough for a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in 8.2 seconds and a 144 mph (232 km/h) top speed.
