2015 Subaru BRZ gains a special edition in Australia
Subaru’s Australian division has introduced a special edition of the BRZ based on the 2015 model year. Prices start at 40,650 AUD and the client gets 9,000 AUD worth of equipment by paying only 3,500 AUD more. Some of these goodies would have to be the 17-inch STI-branded black alloy wheels, a matte black front spoiler, short-throw gearshift for the manual model & knob for the automatic, along with a start button, matte black rear spoiler lip, body stripes kit and matte black side skirts.
Since it’s based on the 2015MY BRZ, this special edition has received updated suspension dampers, larger stainless steel tailpipe tips and similar other tweaks. Motivation is provided by the same boxer naturally-aspirated 2.0-liter engine delivering 200 PS (147 kW) & 151 lb-ft (205 Nm) of torque to the rear axle via a 6-speed manual or an automatic gearbox.
Deliveries of the 2015 Subaru BRZ Special Edition in Australian specification will commence in November.
