After making its official debut earlier this week in standard form, the more appealing 2016 BMW X1 M Sport Package has now been revealed. Seen here is BMW’s smallest SAV wearing an Estoril Blue Metallic exterior paint scheme and equipped with a plethora of goodies from the M catalog. Starting on the outside, the second generation X1 comes with an M aerodynamic package encompassing a front apron, side skirts, body-colored wheel arches and a new rear apron featuring a diffuser painted in Dark Shadow Metallic. It also has a special kidney grille with eight slats finished in high-gloss black while the bi-colored wheels have a double-spoke design and can be had in an 18-or 19-inch set.
The 2016 BMW X1 M Sport Package also has an M Sport suspension and BMW Individual high-gloss Shadow Line and BMW Individual roof rails featuring a high-gloss Shadow Line. There are also M badges on the sides while inside the cabin it gets M door sills, key fob with M marking, LED light guides in the door decors and orange or white ambient lighting.
The M Sport Package for the second-gen X1 also encompasses a BMW Individual headliner with an anthracite look, multi-function M leather-wrapped steering wheel, shortened gearshift lever (with M logo), aluminum hexagon accented blue interior trim option (or Black high-gloss accented Pearl Gloss Chrome) and front sport seats featuring a cloth & Alcantara finish with a “micro hexagon” seat pattern.
