The 2016 Ford F-150 has gained a luxurious “Limited” trim which will be sitting on top of the range. It’s programmed to go on sale this winter and should be an appealing production to those who are in the market for a luxurious workhorse that gets a wide array of goodies including polished 19-inch wheels, a bespoke front grille and the “LIMITED” lettering applied onto the hood. It also has a chrome front bumper combined with a body-colored rear bumper, along with a satin chrome badge on the tailgate as well as a chrome look for the door handles. The Blue Oval company mentions the pickup truck’s body can be painted in White Platinum Metallic, Shadow Black, Magnetic or Blue Jeans.
As far as the interior is concerned, the 2016 Ford F-150 Limited gets a laser-engraved VIN plate mounted on the center console lid and it also comes with bespoke front & rear floor mats, new instrument cluster look, scuff plates with ice blue backlighting, as well as aluminum accents and a panoramic vista roof. The list of standard equipment goes on with the SYNC 3 infotainment system, 10-speaker Sony sound system and power-deployable running boards while the quad-beam LED headlights and remote tailgate release & remote start are also on the menu.
The 2016 Ford F-150 Limited is equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost engine producing 365 bhp and 420 lb-ft of torque channeled to the wheels through a 6-speed automatic transmission. This hardware combo provides a 10,100 lbs maximum towing capacity and allows the vehicle to return an EPA-estimated 17 mpg in the city, 24 mpg on the highway and 20 mpg in the combined cycle.
