2016 GMC Sierra All Terrain X Revealed

GMC has introduced a new special edition of the 2016 Sierra All Terrain model. Being named as 2016 Sierra All Terrain X, the special edition comes with several cosmetic upgrades over the standard model. The new Sierra All Terrain X is offered on the 2016 Sierra 1500 4WD crew cab/short box models with SLT trim.

GMC Sierra All Terrain X rides on 18-inch black aluminum wheels with 265/65R18SL Mud-Terrain-rated Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac MT tires. The special edition also has a distinctive front grille with body-color surround and tinted chrome accents. The front bumper, rear bumper and door handles are in body-color. In addition, there are black-colored sport side steps, exterior mirrors and bed-mounted sport bar to compliment the high-performance LED headlamps. The Sierra All Terrain X is available in a total of six colors: Onyx Black, Summit White, Stone Blue Metallic, Iridium Metallic, Crimson Red Tintcoat, and Light Steel Gray Metallic.

The GMC Sierra All Terrain X boasts of rear park assist, All-Terrain-logo at the instrument cluster and Inclinometer in the driver information center. Under the hood, the Sierra special edition has a 5.3-litre V8 engine which generates a maximum power of 365 hp. Just so you know, it is higher by 10 hp as compared to the standard models. Without any surprises, the 2016 GMC Sierra All Terrain X features a four-wheel drive system with an Eaton locking differential. It is expected to go on sale by March 2016, while the pricing is not announced yet.
