2016 Infiniti Q50 revealed with longer wheelbase

The 2016 Infiniti Q50 has been officially introduced at the 2015 New York Auto Show with a longer wheelbase. It looks just about the same as the Chinese version and comes with restyled front and rear bumpers along with different mirrors, 18-inch alloys and an increased ride height. It also benefits from LED daytime running lights while the most important change is the extended wheelbase which has been stretched from 110.2 inches to 113.4 inches. Most of the extra space is available for rear passengers where legroom has increased by 4.3 inches while the available knee room is now 3.9 inches more than before.

The 2016 Infiniti Q50 comes with roughly the same interior as the 2015MY but the model now gets more standard equipment such as a moonroof and heated front seats. Infiniti has also added a Premium Plus Package that encompasses an Around View Monitor, front & rear parking sensors and GPS navigation.

Under the hood there’s a V6 3.7-liter engine outputting 325 bhp (242 kW) and a maximum torque of 361 Nm (267 lb-ft). Output is channeled to a seven-speed automatic gearbox and an optional AWD system.
