2014 Citroen C5 CrossTourer breaks cover in Geneva

Following an online reveal a couple of weeks ago, Citroen has publicly unveiled the C5 CrossTourer at the Geneva Motor Show this week. Set to compete with other models in this segment such as the Opel Insignia Country Tourer and the Skoda Octavia Scout, Citroen’s more rugged C5 features what the company is describing as an “all-road design” featuring a slightly wider body, bespoke 18-inch alloy wheels that have a matte grey roof, along with brushed aluminum protective fairing as well as chrome wing mirror housing. The vehicle sits 15mm higher than the regular C5 and comes with the firm’s Hydractive III+ suspension.

Citroen plans on selling the model in Millenium and Exclusive trims along with just about the same engines as the regular model. There’s also the Intelligent Traction Control system and an eMyWay navigation system together with a reversing camera. It comes as standard with leather upholstery and a massaging driver’s seat that has electric lumbar adjustment.
