Word around the automotive street is that Buick is working hard on a new crossover which will be positioned above the Encore but below the Enclave. It will apparently be based on the Delta global compact architecture developed by General Motors and is likely to be sold with the Buick nameplate in United States and China.
The same report mentions this new model is slated to enter production in the middle of next year and will be available as a 2015MY at first North America and then in China.
Engine lineup will depend on the market but the American model is rumored to have a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine and a 4-cylinder, 2.5-liter mill.
