2014 Holden Colorado launched

Australian automaker Holden has introduced the 2014 Colorado lineup which will be offered with a new diesel 2.8-liter Duramax 2 engine outputting 200 HP and 500 Nm of torque. The engine works with either a newly developed 6-speed manual gearbox or with an updated automatic transmission. The vehicles also come with a few safety systems in the form of Hill Start Assist, Trailer Sway Control and Descent Control, while standard safety equipment includes front side impact airbags for the LX, LT and LTZ models. The LTZ and 7 versions also boast a rear view camera with Rear Park Assist as standard.

Holden mentions the MyLink infotainment system will come as standard on the Colorado 7, as well as on the LX, LT and LTZ versions. It boasts a generous 7-inch color touchscreen display and provides support for Bluetooth connectivity and several applications like TuneIn, Stitcher, BringGo and Pandora.
