2015 Chrysler 200 officially unveiled in Detroit

Chrysler has taken the wraps off the all-new 200 which make its public appearance later today at NAIAS in Detroit. The vehicle looks a lot more premium than the model it replaces and comes with a variety of goodies such as LED-infused headlights and a variety of alloys ranging in sizes between 17 to 19 inches. It adopts a sloping roof line and a rakish windscreen, along with an overall elegant silhouette. The interior cabin is definitely a step forward compared to previous Chrysler models and comes with premium materials and an appealing design.

Power will come from a 4-cylinder, 2.4-liter TigerShark engine outputting 184 bhp and 173 lb-ft, as well as from a beefier V6 3.6-liter Pentastar delivering 295 bhp and 262 lb-ft of torque. These gasoline engines will be mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox and an optional AWD system which has the capability of fully disconnecting the rear axle when the situation imposes.
