Renault unveils 2013 Kangoo people-carrier

French automaker Renault has launched the restyled passenger van version of the Kangoo which will be available in five trim versions: Life, Zen, Intens, as well as two new ones called Extrem and Business. These are available with an extensive range of gasoline and diesel engines, including the Energy dCi 75, Energy dCi 90, along with the Energy TCe 115.

Renault is also offering the Energy dCi 110 which they say allows the car to have CO2 emissions of just 115 g/km. The model is already available on order in its homeland France and the cheapest version of the “leisure activity vehicle” will set you back 18,200 euros.

The aforementioned Extrem trim level is considered to be the range-topping variant of the 2013 Kangoo passenger van and comes with 15-inch alloy wheels, two-tone front bumper, tinted rear windows, roof rails and side strip molding. As far as the Business trim is concerned, this is being descried by Renault as a mid-range version which was introduced especially for corporate users.

Goodies worth mentioning include a new radio featuring support for USB and Bluetooth, the Energy Smart Management system, stop/start system, Renault R-Link multimedia system and ESC with Hill Start Assist and Extended Grip.
