Acura ILX Endurance debuts at SEMA

Acura has introduced the ILX Endurance at the 2012 SEMA show in Las Vegas. This is an endurance racer which is scheduled to participate at the 25 Hours of Thunderhill.

It features a full roll cage, an OMP competition steering wheel, Bride Gardis III race bucket seat, a Braille lightweight battery, a Brockway Engineering D Gauge digital OBD2 gauge and a Schroth safety harness.

Other highlights include a new front splitter, the Baja Designs LED lightning system and an APR GTC-200 rear spoiler.

At the heart of the Acura ILX Endurance is a K24Z7 engine connected to a six-speed transmission. It’s got a racing exhaust system and an AEM intake, while riding on an H&R suspension. It has been fitted with Enkei RPF1 alloy wheels wrapped around in BF Goodrich R1 rubbers. From the equipment list we notice new motor mounts, a limited slip differential, racing clutch and rear upper suspension control arms.
