Revealed approximately two months ago, the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint carries a starting price in United Kingdom of £20,490. As you might have guessed already, the model celebrates the 60th anniversary of the classic namesake model designed by Bertone and this modern sibling is based on the Giulietta Progression variant but with more equipment. On the list of added goodies we find body-colored side skirts, dark tinted windows with black surrounds, 17-inch bespoke alloys, cloth and Alcantara upholstery, along with a rear diffuser and a different exhaust pipe trim.
Those willing to pay more can get bi-xenon headlights for £930, cruise control for £260, dual zone climate control system for £450, electric double sunroof for £1,200, 6.5-inch Uconnect infotainment system for £1,050 and a Bose audio system for £820.
The Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint (UK-spec) can be powered by a 1.4-liter MultiAir turbocharged gasoline engine offered with 150 HP and 170 HP. There’s also a 1.6-liter JTDM diesel with 105 HP along with a larger 2.0-liter JTDM rated at 150 HP and 175 HP. The Italian marque is also offering a more frugal 1.4-liter LPG turbo developing 120 HP. These engines work with either a 6-speed manual or a dual clutch automatic gearbox.
Deliveries of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spring will begin early 2015.
