Audi celebrates two decades of RS models with the RS4 Avant Nogaro selection

It’s been twenty years since Audi unveiled its first ever RS model, the Avant RS2. Now, the Ingolstadt-based automaker has revealed the RS4 Avant Nogaro selection which pays homage to the original RS model by featuring a similar Nogaro blue paintjob that has a nice pearl effect look. We also notice the matte black roof rails and a high gloss look for the front grille and the window slot trims. The vehicle has been equipped with 20-inch alloy wheels and can be optionally configured with front carbon fiber ceramic discs. The interior features a black and blue theme with Valcona and Alcantara appointments as well as metal accents.
Just like the stock model, the Audi RS4 Avant Nogaro selection is motivated by a 4.2-liter V8 naturally-aspirated engine delivering 450 HP and a maximum torque of 430 Nm. The output is sent to the quattro AWD system via a dual clutch 7-speed S tronic gearbox enabling the high-performance estate to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) from a standstill in 4.7 seconds en route to a maximum speed of 174 mph (280 km/H).
Audi says the special edition RS4 Avant will soon reach showrooms and will kick off from 87,300 euros.
