Audi prepares A5 Coupe DTM selection limited edition

Audi has taken the wraps off the A5 Coupe DTM Selection which will be limited to 50 units. It wears a Misano Red exterior paint scheme and has received several DTM, quattro and Audi Sport logos both inside and out while the special 20-inch alloy wheels come from Audi Sport and are shod in 265/30 R20 tires. Some of the body parts have a glossy black look while on the inside there are bespoke door sill trims with “Audi Sport” lettering. There’s also entry lighting which will project the DTM logo on the road whenever you open the doors to create a special look.

Audi sourced the bucket seats from the RS5 and these now come with a Misano Red finish on the backrest cover while the door and side trims adopt a similar hue. There’s red stitching for the seats and also for the flat-bottomed steering wheel that has Alcantara as well. Other goodies include tinted rear windows, an alloy pedal set as well as other small tweaks to denote this is a limited edition model.

The Audi A5 Coupe DTM Selection is powered by a 3.0 TDI 6-cylinder engine with 245 PS and 580 Nm which allows the car to hit 100 km/h from a standstill in 5.9 seconds on its way to an electronically-limited 250 km/h top speed. The engine works with a 7-speed S tronic transmission to send power to the quattro AWD system and this arrangement ensures an average fuel consumption of 6.3 liters / 100 km.

Already available in Europe, the last hurrah for the current generation A5 Coupe starts at €74,540 in Germany.
