Audi RS5 gets 600 HP from McChip
The Audi RS5 has received a boost upgrade from the engineers over at McChip-DKR who entitled their package as MC5XX. The stage one program brings software optimization, an intercooler and a supercharger which allows the V8 4.2-liter engine to squeeze an additional 100 HP and 88 lb-ft of torque. The tuner says this kit is available to those who are willing to pay the hefty price tag of 19,999 euros. There’s also stage two, priced at 23,999 euros, adding more software upgrades and a sports exhaust system for the purpose of increasing output from standard by 130 HP and 99 lb-ft.
If you are willing to spend more, the stage 3 kit available for the Audi RS5 from McChip encompasses (aside from the above mentioned goodies) an updated compressor ratio that boosts manifold pressure. As a result, the engine is capable of producing 600 HP and 435 lb-ft, representing an impressive 150 HP and 118 lb-ft hike.
