The Audi S3 Sedan has just received an upgrade kit from the tuners at SR Performance who wanted to create a “low altitude racer.” The vehicle has received 20-inch alloy wheels borrowed from an A6, along with an adjustable coilover suspension as well as a black wrap for the roof. Motivation is provided by the same 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine but its output has been increased by 80 PS and 90 Nm. This was possible by installing a BN downpipe, MTM M-Cantronic ECU, as well as a HJS catalytic converter.
After these changes were made, the output of the engine increased to 380 PS and 470 Nm, allowing the hot sedan to complete the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in 4.6 seconds which makes it 0.7 seconds quicker than the standard S3 Sedan.
