Bentley launches 2014 Flying Spur

Bentley has unveiled yesterday the 2014 Flying Spur facelift which brings a wider and lower look with more muscular rear haunches and curvaceous surfaces. Also new is the more upright front grille, ventilated front fenders, LED headlights and various 19- to 21-inch rims.

The interior cabin has been almost completely redesigned as it packs no less than 600 new components, including the new infotainment system which comes with a generous 8-inch display. The Multi-Media Specification for rear passengers comes with Wi-Fi, two 10-inch screens, wireless headphones and a 64GB hard drive.

For more money clients can opt for five-spoke 21-inch alloy wheels, a knurled gear lever, leather headliner, alloy pedals and diamond quilted seats – all part of the Mulliner Driving Specification package.

Bentley will sell the refreshed Flying Spur at first only with a powerful W12 6.0-liter twin-turbo engine which delivers 625 HP (460 kW) and a maximum torque of 590 lb-ft (800 Nm). Connected to an AWD system and an 8-speed automatic gearbox, the car can do the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 4.6 seconds, en route to a top speed of 200 mph (322 km/h).

It can return 14.7 liters / 100 km (15 mpg US or 19.2 mpg UK) with CO2 emissions standing at 343 g/km.
