Bentley unveils Mulsanne Shaheen in Dubai
At this year’s edition of the Dubai International Motor Show, British marque Bentley has taken the wraps off a new special edition of the Mulsanne known as Shaheen. As you would imagine, the limited-run model was specifically designed for the Middle East and the philosophy behind the car is related to the Shaheen eagle. The vehicle can be distinguished by its two-tone exterior paint scheme, bespoke 21-inch alloys and a glass sunroof. Step inside the cabin and you will find dark stained burr walnut trim, diamond quilted leather seats, along with golden Shaheen logos located on the iPad picnic tables. The car also boasts Wi-Fi hotspot and a bottle cooler.
Under the hood it gets a V8 6.75-liter twin-turbo engine developing 512 HP and a massive peak torque of 1,020 Nm. Power is transferred to the ground through an 8-speed automatic gearbox which enables the high-performance sedan to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) from a standstill in 5.3 seconds prior to reaching an electronically-capped top speed of 184 mph (296 km/h).
