Bentley has just published a teaser image depicting the firm’s first SUV in existence which is programmed to come out in 2016. It will essentially be a production variant of the peculiar EXP 9 F concept introduced back in 2012 at the Geneva Motor Show. Bentley says it will be not only the most powerful SUV in the world but also the most luxurious. In addition, the British marque says their SUV will establish a new segment in this competitive market. It seems there will also be a hybrid derivative slated to be introduced in 2018.
Bentley has already clocked more than 2,000 orders for the SUV and they believe the model has enough potential to gather a minimum of 3,000 sales each year. To get ready for the SUV’s production, Bentley will invest 800 million pounds at the Crewe factory where they will increase the staff by 100 employees.
