BMW 1-Series M Coupe by G-Power outputs 429 HP

The German tuners at G-Power have decided to come up with an upgrade program for the limited edition BMW 1-Series M Coupe. The highlight of this project is the work done on the car’s six-cylinder 3.0-liter turbocharged engine. They have reprogrammed the software of the power unit, made the capacity of the boost cooling system bigger, installed flow optimized downpipes and mounted a lightweight titanium custom exhaust system that is 44 pounds (20 kg) lighter than the standard exhaust of the car. As a reminder, the BMW 1-Series M Coupe is the smallest M car ever made by the German automaker and it was produced only in a limited edition series which makes this car even more special than other tuning programs coming from G-Power.

Thanks to these in depth modifications, the engine is now capable of developing 429 HP (435 PS) and 435 lb-ft (590 Nm), up from the standard 335 HP (340 PS) and 369 lb-ft (500 Nm). The power boost allows the BMW 1-Series M Coupe by G-Power to perform the 0-62 mph sprint in just four and a half seconds, on its way to a top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h).

Aside from the healthy power increase, the vehicle has also received a coil-over suspension which is height adjustable and has no less than nine selectable settings. There’s also a new high performance braking system consisting of 6-piston calipers with 396mm brake discs. As you can see from these images, the car is riding on a new set of 20-inch Silverstone alloys wrapped around in Michelin 255/30 ZR 20 rubbers at the front while the rear wheels get 295/25 ZR 20 tires. As a final touch, G-Power has added a contrasting decal over the white body finish of the 1-Series M Coupe.
