BMW Japan reveals X1 Exclusive Sport limited edition
BMW’s Japan division has launched a limited-run X1 Exclusive Sport that will be produced in a series of only 160 units. The vehicle is based on the X1 M Sport and has gained an aerodynamic body kit as well as an elegant satin aluminum trim while body paint choices will be restricted to Black Sapphire metallic and Alpine White. On the inside it benefits from leather seats wrapped around in beige Nevada and it also comes with an M Sport steering wheel as well as heated front seats. Another important feature is represented by the iDrive infotainment system packing an 8.8-inch display and GPS navigation.
The BMW X1 Exclusive Sport is motivated exclusively by a 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine generating 184 PS (135 kW) and a peak torque of 199 lb-ft (270 Nm). The engine works with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and for more money the power can be delivered to an optional xDrive all-wheel drive system.
Already available on order, the limited-run X1 for Japan costs ¥5,190,000.
