BMW M6 Gran Coupe leaked online
Earlier today on the Internet the first official images of the upcoming 2013 BMW M6 Gran Coupe have surfaced. Joining the 6-Series lineup where we have the Coupe, Gran Coupe and Cabrio versions with their M variants, the new M6 Gran Coupe adopts the same line of design.
Featuring a more aggressive styling in typical BMW tradition, the car features a carbon fiber reinforced plastic roof, bespoke front and rear bumpers, new side skirts and a redesigned diffuser which as you can see it is being flanked by twin exhaust pipes on both sides – creating a pretty menacing look for the gorgeous four-door coupe.
As standard, the 2013 BMW M6 Gran Coupe will be riding on a new set of 19-inch alloy wheels, while for more money clients will be able to order the larger 20-inch rims. Other changes include the chrome trims adorning the fender air vents and the double kidney grille.
At its heart is the familiar V8 4.4-liter bi-turbo power unit found under the hood of the M6 Cabrio, M6 Cabrio and M5. This engine is capable of putting out no less than 560 HP and a maximum torque of 501 lb-ft.
BMW will most likely make an official announcement very soon, before the car makes its public debut in January 2013 at the Detroit Motor Show.
