Brabus unleashes Mercedes-AMG C63 S with 600 PS

German tuner Brabus has applied a heavy upgrade kit on the Mercedes-AMG C63 S. Work started in the engine department where the V8 twin-turbo 4.0-liter engine has been massaged to deliver an additional 90 PS and 100 Nm of torque, thus bringing the grand total to 600 PS and 800 Nm which has slashed the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint time by 0.2 seconds to 3.8s. In addition, the top speed has jumped from the standard car’s electronically-governed 155 mph (250 km/h) to an impressive 186 mph (300 km/h). Brabus offers this power kit for the wagon version as well, but that one is 0.1s slower in the sprint due to its heavier body.

This Mercedes-AMG C63 S will be exhibited at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show and aside from the power pack it also boasts 20-inch Monoblock T wheels and a stainless steel exhaust with sound management thanks to the controlled butterfly valve which can be modified by using a switch mounted in the cabin.

Brabus has also installed a subtle body kit manufactured from clear-coated carbon and finished in a matte or glossy look while the interior cabin has gained a 340 km/h speedometer, black leather upholstery (with mandarin seams) and stainless steel scuff plates with the tuner’s logo illuminated.
