In an endless string of special editions, Bugatti has introduced another variant of the Veyron Grand Sport. This time they collaborated with French artist Bernar Venet to create a unique car. As you can see from these images, mathematic and scientific formulas are running across the front fascia and flanks, the same ones that engineers have used when creating the Veyron. All formulas are spread over a rusted metal-like finish to create a bespoke appearance of the hypercar. A similar theme can be found inside the cabin where the door panels are covered by bright orange formulas, while the dashboard panels and leather trim have a rusted look.
Since this special edition is based on the Grand Sport, the car is motivated by the same 8.0-liter W16 turbo engine capable of generating no less than 1,001 hp which is enough to allow the supercar to achieve a top speed of 252 mph. When the roof is removed, the Grand Sport can reach a maximum speed of 224 mph, while when using the umbrella-like cloth roof it’s top speed is limited to just 81 mph.
In related news, Bugatti is preparing a more powerful variant of the Veyron which should be revealed next September. It might provide 1,600 hp and reach a top speed of almost 290 mph, making it the fastest car in the world.
